“點亮聖誕•關愛海員”聖誕節船員探訪慰問行動圆满收官
A Successful Conclusion of the “Light Up Christmas, Care for Seafarers” Campaign
2023年度聖誕節之際，香港國際海員服務中心在相关航运公司的支持与协助下，组织开展了“點亮聖誕•關愛海員”探訪慰問行动。
The Hong Kong International Seafarer Services Centre (HKISSC), with the support and assistance of shipping companies, organized the “Lighting Up Christmas, Care for Seafarers” crew visit campaign for Christmas 2023.
此次行動於2023年11月21日至12月23日先後探訪了8家航運公司的55艘商船，向1200餘名抵港海員贈送了聖誕禮物與中心的紀念品。
From November 21 to December 23, 2023, the team of HKISSC visited 55 merchant vessels of 8 shipping companies in total. Christmas gifts and souvenirs were presented to more than 1,200 visiting seafarers.
香港國際海員服務中心系香港商船高級船員協會與香港航業海員合倂工會發起成立的海員服務平臺，活動資金主要來自依據船員集體協議船東繳納的船員互助福利金。2022年以來，中心在每年的復活節、世界海員日、中秋、聖誕等節日集中舉行的抵港海員探訪慰問活動。支持並協助開展慰問行動的航運公司上升至8家，包括OOCL,SEASPAN, ANGLO-EASTERN, WAN HAI, PIL, COSCO WALLEM，TS LINES 及MAERSK，每次活動探訪船舶數量逐漸增多，受惠海員人數迄今已上升到千餘人。
HKISSC is a service platform initiated and established by the Merchant Navy Officers’ Guild – Hong Kong and the Amalgamated Union of Seafarers, Hong Kong. It is financially supported by the Hong Kong Seafarer Mutual Assistance Fund, which is contributed by shipping companies in their collective bargaining agreements. Starting in 2022, HKISSC organized several festive crew visit campaigns every year, such as Easter, Seafarer Day, Mid-Autumn Festival, and Christmas, to extend our warmest greetings to all visiting seafarers. Thanks to the rising number of shipping companies that supported the campaigns, the number of visited vessels and benefited crew members also increased. 8 shipping companies supported the recent campaign, including OOCL, SEASPAN, ANGLO-EASTERN, WAN HAI, PIL, COSCO WALLEM, TS LINES, and MAERSK, and more than a thousand seafarers received gifts.
