香港國際海員服務中心「月滿中秋•心繫海員」船員探訪慰問活動顺利收官
HKISSC’s “Mid-Autumn Festival Crew Visit Campaign” concluded successfully
2023年9月29日，香港國際海員服務中心工作團隊前往青衣碼頭，代表香港商船高級船員協會、香港航業海員合倂工會向ANGLO-EASTERN旗下的“SEAMAX WESTPORT”商船的海員送上月餅、茶葉、T恤等中秋禮物與紀念品。至此，香港國際海員服務中心開展的「月滿中秋•心繫海員」船員探訪慰問活動順利收官。
On September 29, 2023, the volunteer team from Hong Kong International Seafarers Service Centre (HKISSC) went to Tsing Yi Container Terminal to visit the seafarers on “SEAMAX WESTPORT” of ANGLO-EASTERN. On behalf of the two founders of HKISSC, namely Merchant Navy Officers’ Guild – Hong Kong and Amalgamated Union of Seafarers, Hong Kong, moon cakes, tea leaves and T-shirts were presented to seafarers as souvenirs. The date marked the successful conclusion of the “Mid-Autumn Festival Crew Visit Campaign” this year.
此次「月滿中秋•心繫海員」船員探訪慰問活動從2023年8月29日至9月29日，為期一個月，系由香港國際海員服務中心攜手航運公司實施的人文關懷行動，旨在通過節假日探訪慰問等服務，令廣大海員感受到公司與工會方的關心，並更多的享受到來自工會的福利。
This year’s “Mid-Autumn Festival Crew Visit Campaign” lasted for one month from 29 August to 29 September. The campaign is a caring action jointly organized by HKISSC and various shipping companies. Through crew visits and other services during the festival season, it aims to extend gratitude to seafarers, let them feel the care and enjoy welfare provided by unions.
中秋佳節團圓時，茫茫大海上孤獨航行的海員們仍在堅守著崗位，為世界經濟的正常運轉默默的奉獻汗水。每逢佳節倍思親，香港國際海員服務中心希望通過探訪慰問活動彌補海員們對家人的思念之情。活動期間，在航運公司船員部門的支持與協助下，中心工作團隊共探訪了5家航運公司旗下近40艘商船，慰問海員上千人。
Though the Mid-Autumn Festival is celebrating family union, seafarers are bravely beating solitude on the sea for the normal operation of the world economy. HKISSC hopes to accompany seafarers through crew visits and condolences. Thanks to the support of shipping companies, thousands of seafarers on 40 merchant vessels of 5 shipping companies were visited during the campaign.

The voluntary team was warmly received by the crew onboard. The crew expressed their gratitude to seafarer unions of Hong Kong and hope to enjoy more services in the future.
